A crazy moment at 7 ELEVEN - TTSH
"Story of the King of England" Just a few days ago, after eating lunch at TTSH kopitiam, i went across to 7 Eleven to get Daud his bbq pau. I took the Newpaper as well as join the extremely long queue that snakes around the shop. Then when it was my turn, one big fat Indian guy (older than me) just cut through my queue and wanted to pay for his Gardenia bread with some cash. He seriously thought that he can get away by NOT queueing up and instead pay cash and leaves.
But hell NO WAY! So I told him...
"Sir, can u please queue up?"
He turned around and shouted so loudly "WHATS YOUR PROBLEM??!!"
I hate this stupid bloody attitude of his. But not wanting to pick up a fight, i said
"Its only fair that u queue up like everyone else." and i pointed my finger to the long queue behind me.
Feeling absurdly agitated by my comments and probably feeling xtra guilty, he shouted for the second time ""WHATS YOUR PROBLEM ahh??!!" and the whole 7 eleven stood still.
So i said nicely "i think its fair that u queue up to pay for that bread. Everyone does it"
He then exclaimed "Im paying with cash what. Whats the problem?"
Seriusly dia ingat dia besar aku takut pe!
I stood my ground and then tell him "So am i" and in my hand is a small pau and a $2 note. Hah! Amik kau..
He looked at my pau, newpaper and my cash and then shouted to the cashiers while waving his hands madly this exact words that I love to remember..
"PLEASE SERVE THIS GUY!! PLEASE SERVE HIM. HE'S THE KING OF ENGLAND!"
After he shouted that, he took his pathetic self and queue up behind the long stretch of people. Hah! There u go. A citizen of Singapore doing his job of attending to selfless people who needs guidance. Seriously, guys like him need a reality check. I have "tegur" many people when they do things wrongly and I'm not afraid of how to handle the situation. I told the cashier not to worry about him coz He's just plain stupid.
So there u go, another day to remember! How nice to hear someone call me "King of England". I rather hear the word "prince!" hahahahaha
