NUS FYP poster Presentation
Once again, NUS Chemical Engineering Department had its annual Poster Presentation, a 3 day event, to showcase FYP projects from all of their 4th year ChBe students including my less-than-impressive poster (look below). As always, we are the only engineering department having such FYP presentation on A1 size posters and bringing 2gr people from the industries to "idolize" and inquire about the projects. Each projects are graded upon the presentation to moderators and other professors.
"My poster" (the background looks impressive but the FYP project design isnt) However, it was an exciting but painful journey to be on that fateful friday for the poster presentation day. Countless nights are done preparing scripts and memorizing them with sheer determination that I do not falter when presenting to other Professors. Though I had a small mistake on my poster in which the number 100 is mistakenly inserted as 0, the presentation went well enough that I can heaved a huge sigh of relief. On that Friday itself, it was more of a photo-taking sessions with your chemical engineering buddies whom you have known throughout the years. I have made only a few so I did not bother taking group photos, sadly. Charles won an award for Best FYP project under the "Modelling and Simulation" category. Congratulations! The 3 makciks!! One indian, one malay and one chinese. How apt! As expected, Hanssen won the Best FYP project under the Chemical something something laa.. Congratulations to him!!
Jamal (a Pakistani) ... He didnot win anything.

The guys whom I went to make the all-expensive 30 dollars poster! We got cheated, dudes.
For me, it is one step closer towards commencement; a step closer towards ending my 4 year misery in Chemical Engineering where everyone seems smarter than you. Not only do I feel like a small fish in the huge ocean, I guess I am the smallest fish of the small fishes there. hehe!
Nevertheless, it is a memorable journey to look back after graduation.
