The life of Mrlobaloba....

Since the past few days, i have been carrying a flu and a slight cough which is so damn irritating. I dont see the need to go to a doctor so i kept popping in medicines, vitamin C pills and anything that can allay this sickness of mine. It has been here for days and yet it has not died down. Urgh!

The other day, my mum gave me cough syrup she bought from the neighbourhood clinic. Told me to drink it before work. So i did as she told. It didnot take me 5 minutes to "feel" the effect of a cough syrup! You know, the constant dizziness and the strong urge to doze off. Because of that, i had to endure that faithful day at work trying to overcome the intense sleepiness as my mind starts to hallucinate and making me see the workplace as a place full of beds and pillows.

Whenever my supervisor speaks to me that dy, i had to restrain my eyes from closing and prays that he stops soon. How i wish there are cough syrups out there with no such side effects! but what the hell, for our own good anw.

Tomorrow will be my 3rd and hopefully the final attempt at "something". Would wanna go through it and get OVER it asap! After that, there would be freedom for me! Gotta tell myself to be calm, compose and FOCUS!

Then i can look forward to spend some time at Temasek JC for their GEMA TEMASEK production which oddly starts at 2pm rather than their usual after-magrib timing. I prefer this new timing though, coz it mean i got saturday night free to do anything i want!!

Nisaa Birthday Celebration!

The day she turned 23 was supposed to be on a sunday last week but since i couldnot make it on that day, i planned her celebration on a saturday instead.

THis year, we had a simple one. No expensive dining at restaurants, birthday bashes or chalet. So we had a picnic at the East Coast Park, bringing along tent, food, drinks, cake, table cloth etc..

On that faithful day, i had to rush from tuition which ends at 1230pm, ran home to change up, collect the birthday cake at Polar in Tampines and then buy food from Food Culture at Century Square before picking her up in a taxi to bring her straight to ECP. All that while carrying a bag full of necessities. That also includes the tent for us to solat in and also 2 bags of presents fom my siblings, mum and me!

And so we end our day not short of fun. Though we harbour hopes of flying a kite (for real), we actually didnot even find a shop that sells one. Sorry. Btw Happy 23rd Birthday to Nisaa and May this year be a Blessing for u and your future!
