" An engineer for life"

Ok so i had my Industrial Attachment confirmed at that ICES and cant wait to start working and getting some pay ( i heard mine no CPF). cold hard cash of $800. WTH!! Anyway its my 1st real job as an engineer and hope to do some hands-on and escape from all this studying. So im close to ending my 3rd year 1st semester and by next year i will be in year 4 and then FUH!... out to work as a chemical engineer. But now, exams period are here again and boy, i hate mugging. For those who dont know what is engineering is all about, why not read what i have compiled below... those who are studying engineering can relate to this well...

You Might Be an Engineer If:

1. You have no life - and you can PROVE it mathematically.

2. You know vector calculus but you can't remember how to do long division.

3. You've actually used every single function on your graphing calculator.

4. You know how to integrate a chicken and can take the derivative of water.

5. You assume that a "horse" is a "sphere" in order to make the math easier.

6. You carry on a one-hour debate over the expected results of a test that actually takes five minutes to run

7. you know the direction the water swirls when you flush

8.You always have to explain things by drawing it out on paper or a napkin

9. You can study hard and still fail.

10. You can not study and pass.

11. Multiple choice does not mean easy

12. you have a non-technical vocabulary of only 800 words

NOW we have engineering terms and expressions versus what we actually meant. So now u people now what we are talking about...

1. A number of different approaches are being tried.(We are still guessing at this point.)

2. Close project coordination. (We sat down and had coffee together.)

3. Major technological breakthrough! (It works OK, but looks very hi-tech!)

4. Customer satisfaction is believed assured.(We are so far behind schedule, that the cust omer

will take anything.)

5. Preliminary operational tests were inconclusive.(The stupid thing blew up when we switch

on)

6. The entire concept will have to be abandoned.(The only guy who understood the thing quit.)

7. It is in process.(It is so wrapped in red tape that the situation is completely hopeless.)

8. We will look into it. (Forget it! We have enough problems already.)

9. Please note and initial. (Let's spread the responsibility for this.)

10. Tell us what you think of this.(We'll listen to what you have to say as l)

11. Give us your interpretation. (We can't wait to hear your bull.)

12. Years of development. (One finally worked)

13. Energy saving. (Achieved when the power switch is off.)

14. No maintenance. (Impossible to fix)

15. Low maintenance. (Nearly impossible to fix)

" My sister has a second child!!"

Yesterday at 3pm, my sis gave birth to a healthy and beautiful daughter weighing 2.9kg at KK hospital. my niece's name is tentatively Nabila Ufairah puteri Muhd Rasidi. Knowing the news, i rushed from school and took a cab there. Glad that i was the first visitor at my sister's ward though her husband was definitely there all the while throughout the hours. nonetheless, my sister was all smiles when i arrived and let me carry my small beautiful niece around. What a night to remember! I took some photos of her but most of them are with my brother-in-law.

(so cute right.. sure she will be pretty when she grows up)

I couldnot stop myself from being so perky and joyful to be by this little girl side all night. Looking at how she closes and opens her eyes to see this world around her. Soon my other sisters came together with my brother-in-laws parents. It was pictures galore when everyone wants to have a personal pic with this sweetie. hehe.. Well kak, congrats on your second child. May she be an angel to you and brings you happiness in this world. I leave you a poem to grace this unforgettable moment.

" SUPER MONDAY"

3-0 to Arsenal..................
Nothing can make me more happy than watching my favourite Arsenal Team winning against Liverpool yesterday night. A superb display of attacking football with fluid passing and possession. It doesnot matter to me if Gerrard is even on form. With this, Arsenal can fight for the title this year and As the papers predicted, liverpool might be already out of the title chase. We have such a youthful team but nonetheless a victory that is sweeter than winning against MAn U at Old Trafford!! So now, its Chelsea to be beaten by us... no more monday blues!
