BBQ on Vesak Day The Ices_gangsters (a nickname i created for my group of chem engine friends working at ICES) had our small gathering on Vesak Day. This time around we had a bbq at rubab's condo at clementi. So much talk about getting the whole group to attend this one....UNfortunately only 7 people turns up on that faithful day! Nonetheless, the gathering turns out perfect. We had our fun and our stomach filled.  Will always remember this condo name coz i nearly got lost finding this one!!! all 4 gals of different races!! "they had a hard time preparing the table due to their camera-loving attitude" "plenty of food!" "burn charcoal burn!!!!!!" who else but the guys who had to do this dirty job labourers and the master!  when the charcoal is ready, we are more than ready to start bbq-ing! one more group photo before we go full throttle on our bbq!! posing with the bbq activities on the backdrop! haha satay and tandoori became our favourite choices. "clearing the table after everything has ended" Yeah.. its over.. Though we ended kinda early. Dont ask me why! It was purely a fun and entertaining day especially the charade game where i came up with the most nonsensical stuff for u guys to act. So sorry for that though. TPJC MANIFESTASI WAS part of this production way back in college days. Was excellently done during my year. The kompang guys, dikir barat guys doing the puppet thingy, my nonsensical acting, dikir girls singing so much louder than guys, the "malam" theme song. Ahh.. those were the days!! whatever it is..... Manifestasi 2007 is happening this friday. there are 2 show times. One after Solat Jumaat and the other after magrib. The Sky's the Limit!! 128Km all-island cycling! Thanx to NTU bike rally for organising an all-island cycling covering 128km, spanning across Lim Chu Kang, Kranji, Yishun, Serangoon , Pasir Ris, Changi and many other places. Once the pictures are uploaded and collected from them, i'll put it up here! for now, i have an aching thigh muscle to cure. Well it was all worth it! wrote on 4:26 pm.
