A joke: "10 Husbands, Still a Virgin"

A lawyer married a woman who had previously divorced ten husbands. On their wedding night, she told her new husband, "Please be gentle, I'm still a virgin." "What?" said the puzzled groom. "How can that be if you've been married ten times?"

"Well, Husband #1 was a sales representative: he kept telling me how great it was going to be.

Husband #2 was in software services: he was never really sure how it was supposed to function, but he said he'd look into it and get back to me.

Husband #3 was from field services: he said everything checked out diagnostically but he just couldn't get the system up.

Husband #4 was in telemarketing: even though he knew he had the order, he didn't know when he would be able to deliver.

Husband #5 was an engineer: he understood the basic process but wanted three years to research, implement, and design a new state-of-the-art method.

Husband #6 was from finance and administration: he thought he knew how, but he wasn't sure whether it was his job or not.

Husband #7 was in marketing: although he had a nice product, he was never sure how to position it.

Husband #8 was a psychologist: all he ever did was talk about it.

Husband #9 was a gynecologist: all he did was look at it.

Husband #10 was a stamp collector: all he ever did was... God! I miss him!

But now that I've married you, I'm really excited!" "Good," said the new husband, "but, why?" "You're a lawyer. This time I know I'm gonna get screwed!"

"...Thoughts...."

Its been a while since i last pen my thoughts and what matters to me. From a check with the school calender, it will be less than a month to my final exams. And now im burdened with so many projects and assignments. Come to think of it, i still have a 'midterm' exam for my Arts Gem. That one needs preparations and research. sigh.

The problem i had is time. Invaluable as it is, i cant seem to find adequate time to complete my school work, projects, lab, tutorials etc. Since im not joining silat anymore for now, i thought it might help. But im still struggling to get even with the modules' syllabus. Then when i start to worry if i would score better than past semesters, i end up worrying.

Firstly, i feel inferior to the other chemical enginners-wannabe. Im surrounded by people who spends so much time studying, i wonder if they have 30 hrs per day. For most of our midterm tests, there alwaz exist some clever dudes who will score full marks. And the average of tests would always linger around 80%. Recently, i chatted with my lab groupmate, only to find out that he was a top student in his JC. hah! He even tell me that to be in chem engine must get all A for 4 subjects in Jc rite! i was like 'hahahahaha...ya true!"... But truth is, i dont have that kind of results to start with. Then some others tell me they are holding a scholarship bonds and all. I dont even have a scholarship. And i am not a scholar and i also dont have a ship. HAH..

On a serious note, i dont know if im cut out to be part of this circle. Adi was here and he was a top student so naturally he will do well. I regret to not be very diligent in my studies from year 1. So now the pressure is building up so high that i spend 16-18 hours everyday studying. I wont sleep till i know i do something useful. I hope im not overpressurising myself. Should have set a high expectation for myself from the beginning and work on that...

For now, some things have turn a positive outlook for me. No more Arts gem tutorials, im working on my last lab, i have finished my term paper, i have catch up with some modules, and oh ya, NO MORE TUITION this year!! So im left with 2 projects given to me just last week and tons of tutorials to do. Alamak, how to Raya sey.

SO now, i want to LOOK forward to working in my next semester. An escape from this torturous life and look forward to finishing NUS. Whether im ready for the working world, well i dont want to be worried yet...

"A Problem that needs solutions!!"

Me and my buddies are planning for our annual Jalan Raya this sunday and surely i can expect A superbly GEMPAQ day ahead. But before that day arrives, there are alot of complications that needs resolve. Issues like 'not sure can go or not' to 'public or car' are some of the issues that are currently being planned put by none other; ME and FADLY.

So as a concerned planner, i will take this chance to try look into the most debated issues we are having now...."Car or Public Transport" .

Nearly every year, the outing will have some of my friends driving their dad cars and obviously its convenient for guys like me who havent had any license yet. We can travel further and we can definitely cover more houses. But this year, there is a BIG chance we cant have that happening. I mean, not everyone's dad allows them to drive on weekends if their family needs it first. So how? go public?........

Bangla-man told me that we MUST avoid public transport.. Troublesome he says. I think he's shy to mingle among other guys in public. haha.. or maybe he want to be sweat-free ( i have edited the reason behind it) hahaahah...

So im going to suggest some ideas the guys can take, in order to settle this issue one and for ALL!!!!

1.

Ok first stop is using a pickup truck like shown above.. Well i heard one of my friends have access to that so there is a chance. Cmon, the positive outlook is that we use only 1 vehicle which is a truck and everyone else will be thrown at the rear. we can view the urbanised Singapore more closely and we can feel the wind and black smoke brushing against our faces. Isnt that nice! The cons are: when it rains we might be able to wash our clothes even before reaching the next destination..and also washes our wallets and handphones. Dun forget to bring some detergents!

2.

This one is my favourite. Lets go back in the 60's and revive the bicycle clans. Imagine one big group of guys wearing baju kurung cycling from Tampines to Bedok and then attempting to cycle to Sengkang. Like the picture above, if we can actually attached the seats, maybe we can take turns cycling. SAve energy! haahahah.. If any of the guys dont noe how to cycle, shame on u. 22 years old already..... kidding arh.. So how? importantly, if this is done, it might be a first in Singapore in the 21st century and u can expect to gain strength after cycling 8 to 9 hrs.

3.

Ok ok if u are one of those people who dont believe in having one of those two ones, den lets explore this one. Since its so difficult deciding which modes of transport, den we fly ah! using this means, we can avoid all the traffic, reach each other house faster and no need to sweat. Power rite! If u all have superman t-shirt, better still. Though u may not look like one, at least your chest area have an S there. hahaha.. how to fly? that one, its for me to know and for u to find out.

So well, i guess i have tried my best in exploring some other means of transport. So why dont u all decide and leave a comment.
