WATCH THIS!! "Recommended by Pey, Rai and Adi" The youtube video that u guys are going to watch is one which inspires many. Titled "Where the Hell is Matt?", it features Matt Harding (now an Internet celebrity) who quitted his job as a video game developer and began travelling around the world, leading to the production of his video. The fascinating point is that the video places MATT HARDING dancing in the centre frame at different places around the world and in 2006, he accepted sponsorship from Stride, a gum brand, and releases his third version on 20 June 2008. (see below). The 2008 version of his video shows people of the countries coming together with him and sharing the joy of making the unique video. Well Singapore is one of the countries featured in here! "where the Hell is Matt? (2006) If u are wondering, the background music "Sweet Lullaby (Nature's Dancing 7" Mix)", a 1992 world music song by Deep Forest that uses lyrics from a dying Solomon Islands language. "Where the Hell is Matt? (2008)" My favourite part of this video is when he dances with the tribes at Papua New Guinea. ROFL! Feeling Inspired? You sure will. wrote on 11:45 am. Monday, June 30, 2008
A look into my 10km training schedule. Alhamdulillah, up till now Raihan (joe kool) and Faisal (fuso) have joined forces with me to do the non-competitive 10km Bay Run 2008 organized by Safra. Its going to be my first ever run (after NS) so I hope I wont be sick or have problems getting leave/off if im working. I went for my first full run at Bedok Reservoir for a distance of 4.3km on Sunday evening and clocked a decent 23mins 10s. Im not sure if this is too slow for novice runners so I need someone to tell me la. ![]() For those who also yearn to try a 10-km run, you can check out HERE. Currently, Im using this 8 week schedule to pace my trainings and see whether I can hit a sub-50mins for my first full 10km run. If u are reading this post, I should have just started my first week of training. In between running days, I will still train at the gym to keep the upper body fit! haha.. nak gain weight pe!! But a HUGE Thanks to Fuso who always share information on running techniques, trainings, shoes and running apparels etc. These have got me so hyped! By mid of July, I will put aside some money to get a proper running shoe. So.......Now Im looking into Asics TN705 which is Asics MOST popular enthusiast running shoe due to it's comfort and fit features. BTW, i just realised that my bike seat has been circumcised by some strangers who scraped part of the cushion tip after it was minimally exposed due to wear and tear from Bike Rally 2008. Sigh. Now i have to purchase another seat for my old bike. Damn! wrote on 11:25 pm.
