Well guess i have to update on what i manage to get after going shopping at Geylang ya. Hmm....for a start i realise that my theme for this year's raya is BLACK. cant seem to escape the fact that nearly all, except for the food i bought lah, are black. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe the fact that the spectrum of light arriving at my eye from that objects are in that wavelength (ok ok wateva wan!)... or maybe i guess i want to change things around.. ok i accept the latter. HAHA... So as u all can guess, my baju kurung is black. A first! Went to nearly all the shops selling guys' traditional clothes and all i get was replies like ," Sorry no more black size L or sometimes M." And the funny thing is that the shop i bought from offered me the clothes that is on display! Last one, says the makcik. Before that i set forth to buy black smart shoes, watch, socks and lastly a desk tower fan which is so cute! its compact and it about the height of A3 paper. So now i can feel the air from an aircon via this small tower fan here. No more physical fanning using paper which i have done for the last 3 days! paisey...  For the pix for my other items, i guess theres no need. Shoes are shoes no different. still black.. So total amount spent today is............equivalent to teaching a p5 kid for a month. And I spent it all in a day!!!!!!! sigh... raya comes at a wrong time lar.. Well the joy of aidilfitri arriving should have settled in for most of u peeps rite? With the smell of baked cookies, spring cleaning and what-have-u.. Well mum not baking any, so cant smell...My room still is in a mess and the only hint comes from a shrinking bank account! sob! ______________________________________________________ Oh ya i just submitted my area of research for my Industrial Attachment. Here is one of them which i wanna do. "Microemulsion formulations of cosmetic and drug delivery system" I dont noe what it really meant but surely about the fact that once u wear cosmetics, dont take DRUGS! or maybe...."u can take in drugs instead to make u whiter rather than apply lotion!" hehe.. just playing around ya.. dont mean to insult girls who value cosmetics highly ok! so thats it for what i wanna share tonite. its 245 am and its time for my sleep. Ahhhh...***streeeetccccccch** Its the time of the week when i am done with school and all that comes with it... Thursday to me, is crazy! i have lect from 8am to 6pm. covers 4 lectures back to back. Dont ask me who plan our timetable... but it has pros too.. Like a saying in army...."One shot angkut(carry) semua(all) !!".... Today i got back my Mass transfer Operations mid term test. Cant believe that the average mark for my whole batch was 79.. haha.. gila babe ni chem engine... i guess i did better than expected.. hehee.. Also found out that i 'somehow' got a place for my Industrial Attachment (IA). its at ICES (Institute of Chem Engine Singapore).... the place? JURONG ISLAND WOOOOO!!!!! it's so far and though they pay well, its crazy to go back and forth everytime. i wanted Procter and Gamble. This MNC job scope includes customer relations with clients from all over the world. sigh..So, im gonna be stuck with some research project at JI and hope i can gain some valuable experience to stay afloat in the chemical engineering industry..Well, i wanna use this chance to go get a bike licence. My mum SHOULD pity me with all those travelling and then acknowledge the need for me to get motorcycle!! oh yeah!!! pray for me ok... _____________________________________________________ So now i cant wait for 2mr. gonna start shopping for raya stuffs. But as usual, i pay for my own expenses. yes everything. Actually, ever since my 1st year in Uni i have been self-dependent. So i try hard to find part time jobs and tuition assignments to pay for my transport, books, food and etc.. im jealous when i noe of frends or people ard me who just need to study and everything else ttled for them. Well maybe GOD wants me to be different and learn the hard way. So thats y i cant afford to have luxuries like ps2 or xbox or even branded stuffs. hehehe... whatever the case, im grateful that i can lead a normal life and pray that i do well in my studies next! my shopping list 2mr:

i woke up today, hearing some good news that brilliantly cheer upself up! my JC tuition kid sms me that she passed both her chemistry and C maths. i was like.. wow! Congrats! and telling myself... baik wan! I have to admit that teaching tuition at JC level is no joke. I can handle maths well but i tend to make alot of mistakes in chemistry. Ironically, chemistry is my pet subject all along. hah! Anw congrats gurl for that superb comeback from failing those two in your mid terms and then a wonderful pass for your promos. She then tell me "wah your a good tutor ahh!".... no lah i replied.. Well she is not my 1st tuition assignment at JC level.i once had a kid who is getting ready for A levels. That one make me wanna crap in my pants! urrghhh.. I dont seek recognition or commendation for their achievements but for me, as long as they remember me as 'abang hensem'.. HAHA.. kidding!!!! .. i mean as long as they appreciate my effort and ,of coz, a simple thanks that warmed the heart.. Now.. one more results that im fully awaiting.. my p6 kid PSLE results.. i prayed hard he gets wonderful results coz this bugger can calculate maths mentally faster than me! hahah.. wrote on 5:25 am. ~~~~Reflections~~~ ......just my tots..... Today is a significant day.. wanna noe y?... Its not my birthday nor is it any of my friends or loved ones special days... Eh wait.. if it really is ur birthday today, den Happy Birthday! haha... anw, as of today, its 17 october or precisely a week away from Hari Raya.. For me i rather see it as a week more until the Holy Month of Ramadhan is leaving me.. Im sad.. guilty and remorseful for the fact that i dont think i do enough to savour the month that God has given and showered muslims all over the world with grace, repentence for sins and a significant way of changing and improving our lives no matter how big or small.. So what have i done? come to think of it, i always try not to miss any prayers and also tried reading the Quran occasionally. Needless to say, its definitely not enough rite. Other than abstinence from food, water and u-noe-wad-arh!, there always is something in me that wants me to do more than that. A sense of negligence and engagements in studying has somehow abandon me from accomplishing my goals in this holy month. Being a university guy doesnt help anw.. i remember when i was in JC, i had the motivation to finish the Quran before Ramadhan leaves. Maybe things aren't so stressful back then. Now, work piles up the moment i step home. Every day i will spend countless hours revising, completing assignments bla bla bla.. What can i say....would i wanna give up and let the month that God has given passes by w/o me achieving anything? i guess not. For those who encounters the same fate as me, dont let Ramadhan pass us unnoticingly.. We may not live long enough to embrace Ramadhan in near future.. Masya Allah..

" Need... to... sleeeeepp...." Yesterday i manage to only catch a 1hr sleep before eating at 445am. It was terrible...urgh! Completed studying for today's test at 230 am yest but then cant sleep. Kept tossing in bed.....i end up falling over! Tot of watching again one of my boring lectures........but still no use! And so i have tried: count sheeps, stars, grains of salt in kitchen... HAh!! Anyway let me share an interesting account of wad happen during the test... 9:00am: me, musab and ghaz already seated strategically at the last row right in the middle. Reason: "so that we can see the paintings CLEARER".. ya rite! 9:20am: As usual by his time, Musab dah KO.. whats worse is the fact he actually snore...loud!
10:30am: As planned, when the 1st image appeared on screen, we wasted no time in referring to our prepared notes (read: illegally done..if u noe my professor, den i dont noe u..) and copy the whole set of answers that i have neatly done over the night. All in all, 5 paintings are shown and what i did is just transfer answers into the piece of paper. My prof looks nice today; he didnt even want to go around and check..Baik ah prof!! i guess its effort well done.. haha.. fyi, nearly all the students did wad we did... no meh? wrote on 8:00 am. hi guys (or girls..IF there are any who read this, hah!) So... i have go against all odds, defy orders, break promises, went to the toilet so many times, break fast at the void deck, sleep w/o a fan for few days to come out wf this! im so happy its finally done. it might not be the best blog or the best english-written one but i can only promise one thing... its a chill, 'relax-brudder' type. so what can i say? at last!! fuhh.. wooohooo.. what do u think the layout? wanna keep it simple and refreshing. for now i will try my best to keep this blog going.. to share ideas, tell stories, make jokes, release secrets (hmph!) etc.. to those who wanna link me or anythg, pls do ok.. drop me an email k wrote on 12:12 pm.
Just came home like 8pm and boy i drank another 5 glasses of water.. ...must be wondering y im so thirsty?.. 10 'crazy' guys (plus me) went to play soccer amidst our fasting month and i kept sitting on the street soccer court after running ard coz my head was spinning! no lah it didnt turn physically.. i thk its because i tend 2 get easily dehydrated and my fitness level dropped alot too ever since i have fully recovered from my fractured bone. Dont wanna thk abt 'it'.. anyway whats best is the post event taking place after the soccer. A 'never-before-done' break-fast at the void deck eating of all things...canadian pizza!! sounds ridiculous? no lar..  There u go, break fast at the void deck after soccer.. Ok maybe thats it for tonite.. i have arts gem test 2mr and ghaz, 'pakat ahh!!'.. no no.. im not cheating... to me its a group effort..hahaha.. chows pple!! wrote on 12:10 pm.

10:20am: The test requires us to write down the title of the painting, date, name of the artist and descriptions of the paintings. bla bla.. We HAVE to memorise 30++ paintings back from the 17th century till the 19th century. GILA KE! They are just going to flash 5 pictures and thats it!
