Today is FYP day... Friday and i have classes from 6pm to 9pm.. membrane engineering.. the only reason i took this is because of my FYP project.. sad.. both of my electives i took are scheduled from 6-9pm.. no choice also.. Right now im at IMRE.. free printing of notes, tuition papers and even binding of notes.. sweet.... i can save alot this semester.. My FYP hasnt been going on well.. my first construction of a membrane for fuel cell doesnt show promising results so me and the PG student has devised another methods.. Well it took me many research papers to know what i need to do here.. its all in the name of getting honours! I cant wait for the weekend. Hoping to play soccer.. cmon lah somenone organise.. Then watch plenty of EPL this weekend too.. with the likes of liverpool versus Chelsea.. Rush Hour 3 - Really worth every penny to watch it.. Who would have thought that after rush hour 2 (2001) and 6 years on, rush hour 3 would come back with a punch. With the likes of jackie Chan (less action from him coz of his old age) and a more mature looked by Chris Tucker (still the crappy character), Rush Hour 3 is worth every penny to watch. My bet: u gonna like it.. Recently it even topped the movie charts. This action flicked-comedy movie really catch you laughing so hard, your stomach will surely get cramped... Then if u listen hard enough, there are snipets of lame conversations coming from both of the main characters, u would laugh incessantly.  Three years after the end of Rush Hour 2, Carter (Tucker)is no longer a detective, but a traffic guard on the streets of Los Angeles. Lee (jackie Chan) is now the bodyguard for his friend Ambassador Han, the former Consul from the first film. As for the rest of the synopsis, well i dont bother to type it here. As for one of the FUNNIEST SCENE...it happens when both of them visits a wushu class led by an old man called Dojo Master. this is what the conversation goes like.. and it gets me laughing so loud, the couples in front of me turned around...
Detective James Carter: I'll be asking the questions old man. Who are you? Dojo Master: Yu. Detective James Carter: No not me you! Dojo Master: Yes I'm Yu! Detective James Carter: Are you deaf? Dojo Master: No Yu is blind! Detective James Carter: I'm not blind, you blind Dojo Master: That is what I just said. Detective James Carter:You just said what? Dojo Master: I did not say what, I said Yu. Detective James Carter:That's what I'm asking you! Dojo Master: And Yu is answering. Detective James Carter: Shutup! Detective James Carter:You! Dojo Master: Yes? Detective James Carter: Not You, Him! What's Your name? Dojo Student: Mi. Detective James Carter: Yes You! Dojo Student: I'm Mi. Dojo Master: He's Mi and I'm Yu. Detective James Carter: And I'm about to whoop your old ass man because I am sick of playing games! If u havent watch this one.. u are missing on all the slapsticks.. But then again, dont expect the slick moves by Jackie coz it aint much.... FYI, This movie is SUPPOSED to be acted by Tony Jaa the guy who starred in Ong Bak coz of his martial arts skills but he turned it down due to filming clashed with Ong Bak 2!! there's an ONG BAK 2!! will wait for that to come out... wrote on 10:02 pm. MUSLIM FOOD STALL REVOLUTION AT NUS Why must i wait 3 long years just to see the western stall Indonesian Panggang at Faulty of Engine becomes halal... Situated right beside the muslim stall, you can see large illuminated pictures of the chicken and the western flavors they offer. Previously, true muslims wont dare to queue up to eat those food though it 'might' look like halal. But now there is light at the end of the tunnel. Theres the halal sign right there and now there are more choices at ENGIN.. at last. if not, its the same boring rice plus fried chicken, vegetables etc.. Even better is the newly renovated Arts Canteen. The layout looks similar to Bedok Corner-East Coast Hawker Centre theme which is not so splendid except that its not so warm and there are plenty more seats. Odex Issue. Everyone heard of this company.. surely u do.. and its not something good, isnt it? For a start, its scary to if you are one of those who got caught by them.. The amount you are FORCED to pay is not small especially for students like me..  "this picture has no issue with ODEX"Indeed im pissed knowing how Odex has openly threaten legal actions on local anime downloaders through torrents etc... It is stated in the letter that the recipient is given a period of time to contact Odex for an out-of-court settlement, and if Odex is not contacted within the deadline, legal proceedings will be issued. Odex can obtain personal information of people that they suspect of downloading anime fansubs using BitTorrent programs like BitComet from service providers like SingNet via IP addresses. Here is what the letter looks like.. odex letter The response on anime-related online communities and forums has largely been negative, ranging from sharp criticisms of Odex's video quality and business model, to impassioned outcries for a boycott of Odex or of the anime market. If u get this by mail, then all the best. well i dont intend to babble about this issue coz its in every anime forum u can find on the Net.
