Part 1 of the Round Malaysia Trip

The 4 days in Malaysia during the CNY period are definitely one of the best trips i had (in Malaysia). My family went with our family friends and colleagues in a tour bus organised by one of them. It was full of splendor and exciting memories as the bus journey is never short of games, karaoke contests, lucky draws, family challenges and late night horror movies.

The main difference between this coach and commercial ones is that this coach brings us to places i never before visit in Malaysia such as the new Crystal Mosque, the keropok factory in Terengganu, Kelantan's cultural celebration in the streets and many more.
The departure time was just after 7am and a busload of tour-junkies have arrived..

"trying out some moving pictures effect"

Since this is an organized trip, we are given lots of goodies (b'fast meals, snacks and drinks) upon sitting on the coach.

I pay tribute to this family who organized the entire trip putting together a wonderful journey across every states in Malaysia. The coach would bring us to places in Malaysia that we hardly can reach by public transport.

We had b'fast here in Johor where the eating place resembles a kampung landscape. Nice food though!

After travelling for 4 hours, the coach brings us to Shah Alam where we pray Zuhur at Sultan Salahuddin Mosque. To me, this is one of the highlights of this trip. Arguably the largest mosque in SEA, this mosque can fit 15,000 jemaah at its maximum capacity and the only thing i remember about this mosque is that, one of Raihan (the Nasyid group) movie had its setting here.

The minaret stands at 400+ feet (more than 100m tall) and was the tallest in the world when it was built back then. Now its the 2nd highest in the world..

Im not sure what this is but there seems to be a large circular architectural design just outside the mosque front door.

After prayers, I realise that the carpet for this mosque stands out from all other mosques. Splendid design and comfort which really wants to make you sleep on.

This is weird. Never had i seen such design where the fan doesnt hang from the ceiling anymore but straddles atop a pillar. I guess those who are tall enough can reach it?

After prayers, the coach headed for this war memorial which is famous for its statues of Malaysian war martyrs. This war memorial is one which i remembered visiting when I was so small back then. The whole place had been currently renovated and its now strewn with foreigners and locals.

A view taken from the back of the statues of Malaysian soldiers.

A beautiful garden was developed side by side with the war memorial.
Like a stroll to a different realm.
