Ramadhan is JUst a day away..

It has arrived faster than i actually expected ( like DUH.. we live in singapore)..

Praise be to Allah for making me embrace ramadhan this year in a healthy state. Tomorrow night will be the start of Tarawikh (prayers in mosque after breaking fast) and Thursday would then be the start of our fasting.

Firstly (thanx to Helmi), i would like to seek apologies from family, friends, colleagues and those who knew me if by any chance, i have be sinful to you all. especially making crude jokes.. hehe..

Nonetheless, i hope to start this ramadhan is a better position and may we get lots of "pahala", wash away our sins, start anew and build a better "us". Fasting helps instil patience, initiate reading of Quran and donating to mosques or charities.

The first ten days of Ramadhan is:Rahmat: which means mercy of God.

Second would be Maghfirat which means forgiveness of God.

and the last ten days is Nijat which means salvation or going to heaven

I have listed down a few aims for me for this year ramadhan just like any other year. But this year, i believe i can actually complete it.

Finish reading the Quran before Hari Raya

Go Tarawikh as often as possible

Read the Translated Quran (been left at the cupboard)

And of course complete the fasting and adhere to its abstinence.
