A sudden shock!
Yesterday I went to NUS in the morning only to realise that i dont recall bringing back my 2GB thumbdrive home after Hysys ( chem engine worstnightmarish computer program) lesson on monday.
So i rushed to E2 computer cluster and dang, it wasnot there. The computers at E2 has its problems.. Using Dell, there is an outer cover beneath which, there are the slots for earphone and thumdrive input. This means that if u insert your pretty little thumdrive there, it will be covered totally by that huge outer casing and soon u realised that u left that place without your thumbdrive.
So basically thats what happens..
But lucky me.. I logged in to the same pc and checked out the log in details of all users who used the pc after me and i email them.
One myanmar/vietnam guy (speaks good english) called and said that he was holding on to it in good faith. Even wrote a note on the whiteboard to indicate him being the finder (but not the keepers like some jerks).
So i met him after my experiment at IMRE and collected it personally. Nice guy. Such rarity in NUS. However, the data was not deleted.
Im glad that my FYP, IA stuffs, year 4 materials, KL pictures, videos, jamming songs and games was all there.. fuyyoooo....
FUYOOO... (picture taken during Kl trip)
