"The day i lost my Wisdom..... tooth"

It took me a few weeks to finally realise that i actually had a decay in my nicely grown wisdom tooth on the right side. The days when i couldnot sleep at night while feeling the pain in my jaws and the severe headche that comes along with it. Eating has never been a problem though coz i just gobbled any food down. I guess it only aggravate the problem further.
This ridiculous on-off toothache happens most frequently at night which make me assume that it might be a nightly battle between my gums and my tooth. But when yesterday the sufferings continue in the day at work, i knew something is wrong. The battle should have ended. But i guess my jaw/gum have failed. (the days spartans falled)
Coupled with the fact that i have so little sleep from watching 2 days of Champions League matches, the headache set in. Then my work became dishevelled and i kept holding my jaw to minimise the pain.
So...... i guess its time to visit the dentist which i havent gone to for a year plus already... or maybe 2 years? hmm.....
I asked my supervior to allow me to leave early. Booked an appointment with a dentist surgery clinic in Tampines Telepark as Bedok ones are fully booked.
When i reached the small, air-conditioned, neat clinic just beside 7 eleven at Telepark, i realised that i never saw this clinic before even though i passed by that area lot of times...
The initial query on "whats wrong?" by the dentist itself and a peak into my mouth startled the dentist. Decay, he says and the options he gave me were 2.
- Had the wisdom tooth covered up because of the hole. Crown and enamel will be added. Procedure will take a lengthy amount of time because the cavity has to be removed etc. Cost of operation = VERY EXPENSIVE
- Had the wisdom tooth removed. Simple he said. We cut the gums, removed the tooth, cleaned it up, and stitched it back again. Cost = less expensive that choice 1.
I definitely wanted a quicker solution plus a lower cost of operation so number 2 was the obvious one. The surgery was a quick one. Started with a few jabs of anaesthetic in my gums which even numbed my right ear and then covering my eyes with a towel as he performed an extraction process. No pain no gain. So i endured.

Friends have been telling me yesterday about how painful it would be after the numbness have subsided. But thank god, right now, i dont feel that. the numbness have subsided and i can even sleep well. I guess the amount i pay to the dentist and his assistance was well worth it.
The dentist gave a good review of what is going to happen, what i can expect to happen and all the precaution i should take. So here, im recommending Blog readers to consider this place if u want to visit one.
