"Malay Issues............Part 2"
Its never easy trying to please alot of people when sensitive issues like my previous ones are discussed. Maybe there is a lack in showing a certain amount of balance in those issues but for those who do read the newspaper on the speech made by AMP President (its 1 page long) they would know what i am trying to indicate here. My entries are all qouted from him and he mentioned that as Malays, we cannot just keep pointing the finger but we have to come out with solutions. then again, i asked my fellow blog readers whether after all those 'emotional distress' (as seen from the tagboard), i realise none have actually came out with a single solution for the problems. We are best at finding the faults but where is the wisdom that Allah has bestowned us to think and use our knowledge to good use. Muslims calling another fellow muslims as 'non-believer of Islam' will not make him a better muslim too.
There are so much to discuss when issues pertaining our own community is brought up. I myself admit to being part of those who have not contribute enough to our own society so as to push forward those left behind and make them be part of the future challenges.
In other words, alot are unhappy about the comments made by readers and me inclusive, on the newest Malay NUS production. True, its sensitive especially if u went there and realise it actually spark a chord in your heart OR u are part of the actors/actresses who wants to convey a certain message But the public sees otherwise. Well what i can say is best described by a local reader Asmidar Mat Adam (BH 22Nov) " drama... tidak akan membawa perubahan dan contoh yang baik kepada muda-mudi kita yang beragama islam.......... buatlah sesuatu yang boleh dijadikan contoh yang baik sesuai dengan ilmu yang dimiliki"
My apologies for non-Malay readers. So far, there isnt anybody who wrote to BH to give a different view. Personally i prefer the previous production "Something about Malay". nonetheless, we can go and on about this but nothing can be achieved if discussing is our only means of showing affection and sympathy. So its time to do something and show that the Malay Community has what it takes to be successful and achieve in life and the hereafter. Amin
