~~~~Reflections~~~ ......just my tots.....
Today is a significant day.. wanna noe y?...
Its not my birthday nor is it any of my friends or loved ones special days...
Eh wait.. if it really is ur birthday today, den Happy Birthday! haha...
anw, as of today, its 17 october or precisely a week away from Hari Raya..
For me i rather see it as a week more until the Holy Month of Ramadhan is leaving me..
Im sad.. guilty and remorseful for the fact that i dont think i do enough to savour the month that God has given and showered muslims all over the world with grace, repentence for sins and a significant way of changing and improving our lives no matter how big or small..
So what have i done?
come to think of it, i always try not to miss any prayers and also tried reading the Quran occasionally. Needless to say, its definitely not enough rite. Other than abstinence from food, water and u-noe-wad-arh!, there always is something in me that wants me to do more than that. A sense of negligence and engagements in studying has somehow abandon me from accomplishing my goals in this holy month.
Being a university guy doesnt help anw.. i remember when i was in JC, i had the motivation to finish the Quran before Ramadhan leaves. Maybe things aren't so stressful back then. Now, work piles up the moment i step home. Every day i will spend countless hours revising, completing assignments bla bla bla..
What can i say....would i wanna give up and let the month that God has given passes by w/o me achieving anything? i guess not. For those who encounters the same fate as me, dont let Ramadhan pass us unnoticingly.. We may not live long enough to embrace Ramadhan in near future.. Masya Allah..
anyway i forgot to call the hotline to donate to Tabung Aidilfitri (is that wad they call it this year?) eh.. anyody got the number??
